The Challenge
Students using generic AI chatbots for homework were getting answers without understanding — reinforcing wrong mental models instead of building conceptual fluency.
The Solution
We engineered a purpose-built tutoring engine on top of Claude that enforces a Socratic scaffolding policy (never give the answer outright), tracks concept mastery per topic, and surfaces teacher dashboards.
